Alexander The Great rides back home to Macedonia

(Skopje, Macedonia) Since early this morning, big trucks are headed towards the central square, Plaza Macedonia. Alexander is coming!

A statue, almost 13 meters high, on a pedestal 15 meters high, will make the center of the capital spectacular.  The fountain, with the sculpture, is expected to be completed in a few weeks.

Here are some of the sculptures in the city center of Skopje, the capitol of Republic of Macedonia. 

The sculptures are situated on the main pedestrian street Macedonia and the national plaza Macedonia.
